Shougang Tonggang Group cuts costs in August-September

Jilin Province-based Chinese steelmaker Shougang Tonggang Group has announced that its melting shop No. 1 decreased its costs by RMB 310,000 (about $48,590) in the August-September period.
 
A significant part of the cost savings were made after completion of repairs to damaged equipment at the electric furnace in melting shop No. 1.
